I have a 1983 Powermatic/Burke Millrite with the long knee option (about 14" of Y travel), varispeed, 1HP motor, R8 spindle, with the 8x36 table, and 24"x14" travel. The leadscrews are in good shape with low backlash, all the scrape marks are still visible on the ways and knee, and the spindle is quiet and cool running.

I have a Powermatic Millrite (1979) and it is a good machine. Mine is 7x27 table. That millrite in the ebay link has 2 features not generally found on millrites. The knuckle ram (2 axis of rotation) most only have one axis of rotation at the head. And an original coolant system, well at least the pan anyway.

I moved a 1974 Millrite MVN two weeks ago a distance of 110 miles. I strapped in to the trailer with 4 straps and nailed 2" x 6" to the trailer floor to hold the base. The seller placed the Millrite on my trailer with a fork liftover the axel as I requested. When I got the Millrite home I left it on the trailer and backed it into the garage.
32. Apr 6, 2014. #2. Dan, I have a Burke Millrite that is basically the same as the Powermatic. Dimensions are: Base: 30" W X 32" deep. Overall: 54" wide, 46" deep, 73" tall. I have had mine for about twelve years, it has served me well, doesn't have some of the options that a Bridgeport does, but it does everything I have needed to do.
